Influenza
Course Description
This course teaches you what influenza is, how it is transmitted, when a person becomes infectious, how long they are infectious for and what can be done to limit the spread of infection.
Course materials:
- 2,100 word downloadable manual with images of hand washing protocol and areas of the hands most frequently missed when handwashing
- Online testing to ensure comprehension of key points
- Printable certifcate of learning
Continuing Education Credits/Units: This course should take you 1 hour to complete. It has been assigned the following values:
- 0.5 Category A CEU's by the CMTO & CMTNL (College of Massage Therapists of Ontario & College of Massage Therapists of Newfoundland and Labrador)
- 2 Category A CEU's, CEC's by MTAA, MTAS & MTAM (Massage Therapist Association of Alberta, Massage Therapist Association of Saskatchewan, and the Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba)
- This course does not meet the current CEC criteria of the CMTBC (College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia)
